JUNE MISSIONS ~ WABASHA AREA FOODSHARE PROGRAM
Throughout the month of July, we will be collecting monetary donations and food donation for the Wabasha Area Foodshare. Summer is a busy time for most families as kids are home from school and the food pantries are used more often.
Wabasha Foodshare Summer Challenge ~ July 1st – 31st
Did you know $20 is how much it costs Wabasha Foodshare to provide a family an average of 50lbs of food when they visit the food shelf today. In 2025 the cost was only $15, that’s a 33% increase. Wabasha Foodshare is partnering with Open Your Heart to Hungry and Homeless in a Summer Challenge matching grant opportunity. The goal is to raise $10,000 during the month of July, enough money to cover one month of food purchases for the food shelf. They need your help to fulfill this. Help now, while your donation doubles. Every donation is greatly appreciated!
